"I've enjoyed Susana's cooking,
teaching, and exuberance for Oaxacan culture. She exudes
the full flavor of the Oaxacan kitchen."
Rick Bayless
Chef/owner Frontera Grill and Topolobampo
in Chicago, and author of Authentic Mexican: Regional
Cooking from the Heart of Mexico
"Susana evokes in her cooking
everything we love about home and hearth. Whether sampling
foods in the markets of Oaxaca or transforming them in her
kitchen at Rancho Aurora, Susana is one of those nurturing
spirits who was born to feed our hearts as well as our bodies
and who is thereby a superb translator of culture as well
as cuisine."
