With a warm and welcoming Palermo, we started our first day in this bustling city. We paid a visit to the incredible Duomo in Monreale, which our guide Mauro describes as a living bible. Around 100 kilos of gold and glass mosaics adorn the walls form.

I Segreti del Chiostro
The best and biggest cannoli in town. Located inside a convent that housed cloistered nuns between 1311 and 2014, this bakery has been taken over by a group of professional baking women since 2017. Delicious cassate, cannoli, and cookies.
