Who we are
Seasons of My Heart is a cooking school and culinary tour company at Rancho Aurora, San Lorenzo Cacaotepec, Etla, Oaxaca, Mexico 68263. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through seasonsofmyheart.com.

What we collect
Name, email, phone, the class and date, your answers to the booking questions, and how you heard about us. Payment is handled by Stripe. We see that you paid and the amount. We never see or keep your full card number. Name, email and your message when you submit a form. When you visit our website, we might save the pages visited, the device and browser, rough location, and the site or ad that sent you. We do not ask for sensitive information. If you tell us about a food allergy or dietary need, we use it only to prepare your class.
How we use it
We need your information to run the class you booked. That means confirming it, sending reminders, taking payment, and contacting you if something changes.
We also use it for three things you can say no to:
Sending the newsletter, only if you signed up.
Understanding which pages and ads bring people to us.
Measuring whether our Google ads lead to bookings.
We do not sell your information.
Cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads
Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads. They tell us how people use the site and whether a visit from one of our ads led to a booking.
If you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, the site saves the ad click. It is linked to your booking so we know which ad brought you.
When you book, we send Google your email address in a scrambled (hashed) form. Google can not read it. Google uses it only to match your booking to an ad click, and then reports the result to us. This is called enhanced conversions.
You can turn off cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out tool. You can control ad personalization at My Ad Center. How Google uses this information is explained in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the services that help us run the school. Each of them handles it for us:
Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, Stripe, Google (Analytics and Ads). A private system we use to keep track of guests and bookings. Some of these services store information outside Mexico, for example in the United States. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep booking information for as long as we need it to run your class and to meet tax and accounting rules. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
Under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, you can ask us to:
show you the information we hold about you
correct it
delete it
stop using it for a purpose, such as the newsletter or ad measurement

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date below.
